Welcome to the official web site of Department of Islamic History & Culture. Here today we are happily announcing that this effort to connect with the students of this department through internet is an historical achievement. We are the first department who has taken such an exceptional step in the history of Syed Ahmed University College, Sukhanpukur, Bogra.

We thank to our well wishers, teachers, students of different years and our classmates to encourage us and to make our dream comes true.

We are very grateful to our Head of the department Prof. MD. ABU HAMMAD BAKI BILLAH sir, Lecturer MD MONJURUL ALAM RASEL sir, Lecturer MD ANWARUL ISLAM sir and Lecturer MISS. AYESHA SIDDIKA MEM. Specially we couldn’t reach to our goal without the help & encouragement of Mr. Anwarul Islam sir. So we thank him again & may almighty god always help him.

We are also very grateful to our classmates who advised us and encouraged us always. Specially,Md. Meherul Islam(2009-2010), Md. Rayhan Habib(2009-2010), Md. Firoz Sarkar (2009-2010),Miss Tania Akter (2009-2010) and all others.

We hope that our little effort will be a mile stone to other department of SAUC. And we will try our best to provide up to date information and keep our students in touch with DIHC.

We believe that only learning from books and passing in the examination can’t make one perfect but doing something different, something extraordinary, something new along with formal study can make one exceptional.

We strongly believe that it will help you to know about us and our educational and cultural activities. It will also help all the students to get necessary information sitting at home.

It’s our first voyage in the ocean of internet. So we need your valuable opinions, advises and thoughts to develop our website.

About DIHC-SAUC

Short History of Department of Islamic History & Culture

Syed Ahmed University College first started their four years honors course from session 2008-2009 with only 50 seats. Now there are six batches and about three hundred students studying here with the guidance of highly qualified teachers.

Our first batch of session 2008-2009 is waiting to complete their honors course within a few months.
